Ho visto le piramidi
Molti dei miei amici sono affascinati, come me, dal mondo dei profumi. Queste immagini scattate a Milano raccontano bene la piramide olfattiva, cioè le note di testa, di cuore e di fondo che compongono una fragranza. Le dedico agli amici che, quando mi sentono parlare di piramide olfattiva, mi guardano con una certa perplessità…
I've seen the pyramids. Many of my friends are fascinated, like me, from the world of fragrances. These pictures taken in Milan well tell about of olfactory pyramid, that is, the notes that compose a fragrance. The dedicated to my friends who, when they hear me speak about olfactory pyramid, look at me with some perplexity…
Nella foto qui sopra ci sono in primo piano le boccette di Eterea, il nuovo profumo di Genny, mentre sullo sfondo si vede una piramide rivestita con gli elementi che fanno parte dell’anima di questa fragranza: limone, lampone, tè verde, fiori e ambra. Trovo che questo sia un modo particolarmente immediato e divertente per toccare, capire e vedere cosa c’è dentro un profumo.
In the picture above there are, in the foreground, the small bottles of Eterea, the new fragrance by Genny, while in the background you see a pyramid covered by elements that are part of the soul of this fragrance: lemon, raspberry, green tea, flowers and amber. I find this a very immediate and fun way to touch, understand and see what's inside a perfume.
In via Madonnina a Milano mi sono lasciata inebriare dai profumi Creed, che da sette generazioni crea fragranze (per l’esattezza dal 1760), nel nuovo negozio monomarca. In questa raffinata boutique, per capire cosa c’è in ciascuna delle fragranze basta girare le boccette per la prova e trovare la descrizione della piramide olfattiva.
In via Madonnina of Milan I left me inebriate by scents by Creed, which creates fragrances for seven generations (since 1760 to be exact), the new flagship store. In this refined boutique, to understand what there's in each of the fragrances just turn the bottles to try to find the description of the olfactory pyramid.
Durante una passaggiata in via Paolo Sarpi, invece, ha attirato la mia attenzione la parata di profumi di Serge Lutens che si vedeva accanto alla porta d’ingresso di una piccola profumeria. Mi sono avvicinata e ho scoperto con stupore e piacere che le boccette per la prova hanno un adesivo grande con l’elenco delle note che compongono la piramide olfattiva.
During a stroll in Via Paolo Sarpi, instead, has caught my attention the parade of Serge Lutens scents, that could be seen next to the front door of a small perfumery. I approached and I discovered with amazement and delight that the small bottles for testing have a sticker with the list of notes that make up the olfactive pyramid.
