Venezia é la città dell'arte. L'aria di Venezia è intrisa d'arte che si insinua in ogni luogo interno ed esterno della città. Ca' Rezzonico è un contenitore prezioso e leggero di forme settecentesche. E l'arte settecentesca, nell'intera Europa, è fatta di ritmi barocchi e rococò. La ceramica è la Terra: antica, solida, strutturata; la porcellana, sorella nobile, nasce invece da una terra bianca, fragile, sottile.
Refinement in everyday life
Venice is a city of art. The air of Venice is full of art that creeps everywhere inside and outside of the city. Ca' Rezzonico is a precious and lightweight container of eighteenth-century forms. And the eighteenth-century art, throughout Europe, is made of Baroque and Rococo rhythms. The ceramic is the Earth: ancient, solid, structured; the porcelain, noble sister, comes instead from a white earth, fragile, thin.

E di porcellana sono le opere che Cà Rezzonico contiene e propone all'interno dei suoi spazi. Sia ben inteso, si tratta di manufatti che nascono dalla quotidianità, dalla sua leggerezza, che non hanno nulla di intellettualmente impegnativo e che sono generati quindi da piccoli banali gesti. E' per questo che un baciamano e uno sguardo d'amore, oppure un cacciatore con il suo cane, diventano opera d'arte. La materia è bianca, luminosa; il decoro è colorato, floreale e la sua leziosità evoca leggerezze giapponesi. Le statuine qui proposte, di matrice sassone, riproducono gesti e movimenti che tuttavia evocano la grande pittura di Hogarth o quella non meno interessante e tutta veneziana di Pietro Longhi.
And made of porcelain are the works that Cà Rezzonico proposes within its spaces. It is well understood, are artifacts that arise from everyday life, from their lightness, which have nothing of intellectually challenging and that are then generated by small trivial gestures. It is for this reason that a hand-kissing and a look of love, or a hunter with his dog, become artwork. The material is white, bright; the decor is colorful, floral and her levity evokes japanese lightness. The little statues here proposed, matrix Saxon, reproduce gestures and movements that nevertheless evoke the great paintings of Hogarth or one no less interesting and however venetian Pietro Longhi.
