Tragic, disturbing, unfathomable, hilarious ... magnificent masks

The title of the exhibition, MASKS OF THE SOUL, hides two truths. The first is material, tangible, because it proposes artifacts related to the experience of man, albeit filtered through a show of life that takes place in this case, through the theatrical games. The second is spiritual, because it explores the inner life of men, both through the depth of the eye, that the characterization of facial expressions. However, the oriental flavor is determined by the details that embellish the forms, whose modeling is elegant, austere, strongly dramatic. Surely there is always a requirement of interiority tipical of the Japanese shows. During the exhibition, you can see some refined designs, in which describes the choreographic movements of the actors.
The exhibition looks superb in its simplicity. And proposes surely a treat for the eyes!
