Fontana: the sublime formlessness

Fontana: the sublime formlessness

One of the most striking artistic itineraries that Milan currently offers you can in the complex of San Fedele, built in the late Renaissance. Here, both in the church in the spaces connected to it, alongside classic works such as the Deposition of Peterzano or the magnificent carvings of the wooden choir from the demolished St. Maria della Scala, you would not expect to find significant evidence of contemporary authors signed Mimmo Paladino, Jannis Kounellis, Mario Sironi, Nicola De Maria and Lucio Fontana. In particular, by Fontana you find an amazing ceramic work Way of the Cross: 14 ovals in which the shape liquefies and comes back together again.
