Looking this you would not think that is one of the most valuable and tasty food of our Italy. Yet to the white truffle, considered the gold Umbria, there is an exhibition in the fall season. Until 25 October in the historic medieval town of Gubbio there is a fair that pays tribute to this jewel of Italian cuisine.
To make the experience complete, I recommend at least one night in a special place: the Park Hotel ai Cappuccini, an antique monastery restored in a particularly and harmonious way, combining ancient and modern. In its restaurant, I eat right here the best tagliatelle with white truffles. The hotel has a spa with the latest treatments and equipped with a swimming pool futuristic designed by Simone Micheli. Finally, I always recommend the Park Hotel ai Cappuccini also because there is a special fitoterapista: Marc Messeguée, whose advice to improve my physical condition became my lifestyle.
