Barbie. The Icon
by Massimilano Cappella
Mudec, Museo delle Culture, Milano - until March 13, 2016

Barbie was my best friend when I was young, my favorite doll when I dreamed to be a stylist, my confidant, my safe haven before falling asleep. When I was a child I had a lot of Barbie, and for a time I also collected them. At some point, however, I have given away, but not reluctantly, would have made happy the other girls less fortunate than me. See the exhibition dedicated to her has been a succession of emotions. Divided into five sections, the exhibition is designed for adults and children with a series of interactive activities. And get bored is not possible: it's just fabulous to see and find out how this small, slender doll has represented some 50 different nationalities.
