Parah is 65 years old. And to celebrate this milestone, the historic Italian company has set up an exhibition, 65 Years #PARAHWORLD, which collects images of his finest advertising campaigns. What you see in the picture is part of the selection, and although it belongs to the archives of the house, I find it is very contemporary, so much for the material used (a precious lace) as for the color (a beautiful tone of green very chic). And lace and green are elements who are very trendy. The exhibition, included in the calendar of the Milan Fashion Week, is organized in collaboration with La Murrina that has created for the occasion (and the hands of his master glassmakers) a work of art of blown glass is just two pieces of underwear.
But what they have in common Parah and La Murrina? The first was born in 1950 and the second in 1968. Both companies have a strong bond with the territory Italian: a Made in Italy product in Gallarate for the first and at Murano for the second.
